Anyway, I have edited this and hopefully it sounds better - apparently mashing two sentences together to make no sense is my thing lately.<br /><br />I was surprised how little I knew about this at all. But again, when it is nothing more than a few paragraphs in a high school history book, those tend to not make impressions. It was also really interesting to see TR's accomplishments before becoming president.
