But be cautious if you are like me and crave footnotes and citations. I know it would be a much shorter book, and there are times where this is NO INFO so we have to look at what the men were up to, to get an idea of what the women were up to, but it was supposed to be a study of queens, not queens, their fathers/sons/husbands, the clergy, and the time period!Sarah @ All The Book Blog Names Are Takenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12507006809241347635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5080051275665594538.post-58050934905266098622018-07-15T08:28:13.142-05:002018-07-15T08:28:13.142-05:00No worries! Now it is mostly to talk about what I am reading and to promote my blog, and topics that are of interest and connected to what I am reading...and politics. This book sounds like it would help differentiate the Matildas for me (more than one?!) although, like you, I'd prefer a book about the women to be just that, not pedded out with their mens' exploits.Stephanie Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16071958445763105060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5080051275665594538.post-34958043550437403382018-07-14T23:30:41.437-05:002018-07-14T23:30:41.437-05:00My twitter handle is smellincoffee, for all the go...My twitter handle is smellincoffee, for all the good it does anyone out to follow me. She is the most interesting to me of all the Norman queens, but boy would I love to have eavesdropped on a conversation between her and Eleanor of Aquitaine!

(Also, totally unrelated, but you should check out my post about the Versatile Blogger Award.
