This frog does not want to be a frog because of all these different reasons, only to discover every animal he wants to be is an animal that the wolf likes to eat - and the exact reasons the wolf won't eat the frog is all the same reasons the frog gives for not wanting to be a frog. I remember when he was murdered and being so horrified. I was 15 at the time and in my own small corner of the world, could never have fathomed someone being murdered at least in part because of their sexual orientation. I was not raised to believe there was anything wrong with being gay, and so it really was a shock to my naive 15 year old brain that it could happen. It takes a day-by-day look at what the Gospel says, and puts all four side by side to discuss what each says and why there are differences and what those differences may mean. I read it every year starting on Palm Sunday and just read the chapter for that corresponding day. I highly, highly recommend it. Hopefully I will be able to say the same thing about the one from my haul this week.

Chernobyl is so crazy interesting, isn't it?
