Stacking the Shelves #92

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature co-hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

I am a giant dummy and accidentally posted the cover of Venning's alternative history of the Wars of the Roses last week, when in reality I got this one about the Tudors. Oops!

Happy Reading!

  1. A Good Girl's Guide to Murder looks like exactly the kind of book we should NOT be reading while locked up with the whole family for 5 weeks and counting.....

Lol thanks for sharing your new reads :)

    1. I had to restrain myself with the books, because I went crazy buying a bunch of new dance clothes for Eleanor. I was seriously out of control.

I think the book on mosquitoes would be interesting. They're practically the /state bird' of Minnesota, lol. We have over 12,000 lakes, so we always have TONS of those little buggers every spring and summer.

  5. Only one last week: Little Women on my library ebook app. I can't believe I am going to read this book again (it is for a reading group) because I lost count of how many times I read it as a kid. I did order some books but they will come in next week.

    1. Little Women remains one of my favorite books of all time. I have also been in love with Christian Bale from a very young age (think Newsies, 1992ish), and so when the movie came out I was even more smitten by both him and the story. I think I own at least ten different copies of the book. It is a treasure, and I wanted to BE Jo March from the time I was about 9 or so.
