Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

I really liked it! It was originally a trilogy, and ended so perfectly. But now there are five books and while the stories are good, I think the wrap-up was good. Book 4 was still good though.
DeleteI liked Truly Devious but haven't read any of the others yet.
ReplyDeleteYou're reading all the fiction :)
ALL THE FICTION! Mostly it is because I am trying to get ahead on my Goodreads challenge, but am currently only like, two books ahead of schedule. I don't want to get behind.
DeleteIt was supposed to only be a trilogy, and it wrapped up so perfectly, but I just read book four. I am also waiting on book five because it just came out and everyone else is reading it too. Book four was good, but I just love how the first three connected so well, and ended so well.
Just 2 novels I picked up from the supermarket to celebrate getting an all-clear from my 6 month dental check-up [grin] Because ANY excuse, right?
ReplyDeleteVioleta by Isabel Allende
The Witches of Vardo by Anya Bergman
OBVIOUSLY you need to celebrate check-ups - I think we can both justify ANY reason to gift ourselves books, lol.
DeleteI added a few more than this to my shelves this week...but I am also feeling a little pressure from it too...sigh. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSaaaaaaame. I really need to be more accountable with how many books I am just reading at random, and how few I am reading from my backlog.
DeleteOooh! I've been seeing Truly Devious around lately! Great haul!

It's a fun series, book three is coming out soon and I can't wait to read it.
DeleteJust two books? I need a couple of weeks like that. I've been taking on ARCs for May and June like crazy recently.

I have so many at home already from the library, I am trying to focus on my TBR but it is so tough because I want ALL THE BOOKS.
DeleteI made a trip to the library this week and stumbled upon Owen King's latest book The Curator. I've attempted to start it a few times, but just can't seem to get into it.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read anything by him. Is there one you recommend that you like better?
