Here we go!
This is year FIVE of Tackling the TBR and I finally have things sort-of under control. My ultimate goal is to get under 500 books, but I also have to be realistic - just think of all the books not even written yet that I will want to read. When I started this mess I was at well over 5,000 books on the TBR, so to be where I am now is pretty incredible.
I will post on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and last day of the month.

How do you read 20 books at a time? Really, how? How in the world do you keep them straight? Or am I misunderstanding the post? I can manage 3 at a time.....one audio, one kindle, one physical book. More than that and I don't feel like I finish anything. BUT, good job on attacking the TBR! I have nowhere near 5k , maybe about 1200. I realized that I add many more than I read because I'm spending too much time reading ARCs and not my list. SO, cutting of the ARCs and finishing the few I have left, then it's time to focus on my own TBR list of mostly backlist titles.....and some that I've been wanting to read for years! Hope you enjoy all 20 books!! :)

I am a mood reader so I always end up with a ton of books on my 'currently reading' list. Some I have not touched in two months, and some I plow through in a day or so. I also mainly read non-fiction so it is not like I have characters and plots to keep straight. I tend to read fiction really fast, because it's not that intense or in need of me to pay such close attention to details. Plus, reading is my way to make the time fo faster when my daughter has to go to her dad's house, so it feels like she is coming home sooner.
DeleteThe Girls of Summer looks promising. And I hope you liked Zoe Spanos.
ReplyDeleteI like Summer so far, but then I got distracted. Still have not started Zoe yet, oi.
