DeleteIt's a bit of an odd one and has a somewhat misleading title - but I did find it interesting on a number of levels. Only 10 pages to go, so I'll finish it later.
DeleteAgreed, it was a travelogue as well which I was not expecting. But it is the first book I've ever read that focused so much on Princip and who he was, why he took part in the assassination. In revious books on WWI that I've read, most of the time his name isn't even mentioned, he's just called 'an assassin', and so I knew nothing of him for so long.
