Henry V looks interesting - obviously.....
ReplyDeleteJust 3 from me this week. I think you're safe [grin]
Non-Fiction:
Normal Women - 900 Years of Making History by Philippa Gregory
Fiction:
The Gathering by C J Tudor
The Fair Fight by Anna Freeman
I was about to ask why I was safe from the non-fiction title...then I saw the author, lol.
DeleteI have a love-hate relationship wth CJ Tudor. I loved The Hiding Place and liked The Burning Girls, but I DNF-ed The Gathering and hated The Chalk Man. The Other People was okay but I don't even remember what it was about.
I think my issue with The Gathering is that I was raised by Buffy, so anything vampire-related that does not adhere to how the Buffy-verse works is a lost cause for me.
Well, I'm a 'sucker' for anything vamp related, so I thought I'd give it a try.... Might be a while though.
DeleteFair enough, lol. I hope you like it!
DeleteLooks like you’re well stocked! When the Bones Sing is a compelling title.
ReplyDeleteWhen the Bones Sing was FANTASTIC. I've loved all of the author's books except for the most recently published before Bones.
DeleteI requested the new Ellison as well, so I'm really looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteIf you have Prime you can get it right now for the October Prime First Reads!
