Interested in what you think of Vengeance.... Looks GOOD.
ReplyDeleteWe had a rare dry day recently, so.... Mall trip!
Fiction:
The Map of Bones by Kate Mosse
Witchcraft for Wayward Girls by Grady Hendrix
Non-Fiction:
John & Paul - A Love Story in Songs by Ian Leslie
Border Wars - The Conflicts that Will Define Our Future by Klaus Dodds
The Nazi Mind - 12 Warning from History by Laurence Rees
Baltic - The Future of Europe by Oliver Moody
The Language Puzzle - How We Talked Our Way Out of the Stone Age by Steven Mithen
Usually the 1800s don't interest me but I love Clavin's books. He brings the people and places to life in such a vivid way. I really like him a lot.
DeleteI keep going bck and forth on the Hendrix book. Some of his books I like a lot and some I hated so much, there's not really an in-between. I'm also interested in Border Wars, The Nazi Mind, and The Language Puzzle.
Nice haul. I hope you find some treasures in this stack. Have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou too, Cindy. Thanks so much for coming by!
DeleteLooks like a good line-up! I'll be curious how you find the Tyldesley -- I don't thiiiink I've read that one.
ReplyDeleteI grabbed it because I think you'd reviewed another book by this author, but my library system only has this one. But I will never pass up a book about Nefertiti.
DeleteAfter Purity looks interesting. Might check out...#StackingtheShelves
ReplyDeleteIt's quite a slim volume, though not sure how quick of a read it will be. I'll be getting to it today, hopefully!
DeleteA nice selection there. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
