ReplyDeleteI can't say that the Indie shop was 'disappointing' (it never is) but I didn't leave with *that* many - plus about half were hardbacks so I had a bit of a Tetris moment with my backpack. Then I went to The Mall.... and, well, stuff happened.... Oh, and I had one delivered too - it was 50% off! They MADE me buy it! So... I think you might be interested in 4-5, but I think you've already had/read one of them... Maybe...

The only one my library is Girl on Girl, so I've put a hold in. The rest will have to be requested, so fingers crossed! I'm not sure if they are crossed so that the books get ordered, or that they don't, lol.
I pretty much always imagine the WORST possible outcome - so I'm nearly always pleasantly surprised it wasn't 'that' bad....
Delete'Don't Like Monday's' *jumped* out at me because I loved the song & actually remember the incident in 1979. It might be interesting although I'm getting mixed vibes from it. I'll be scheduling it soon though but will be ready to DNF it! 'Viking World' was my 50% off one. How *could* I refuse!

DeleteOf COURSE! I saw it publish and then when I went back a little later to see your response it had vanished! It might have been the unusual size... [ponders] I was a bit horrified at the idea of retyping it though. Plus *finding* the books after they've been scattered into various piles.... [grin]
