Stacking the Shelves #364

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

  1. I only added three this week, but I haven't caught up from adding all the books to my stack last week. It didn't help that I started a book over 500 pages that is sloooow going. I hope you enjoy these when you get to them.

    1. Thank you! A lot of them came from a library display of YA survival books and those are some of my most favorites! I also have all of mine from last week, plus my ARCs. It's never-ending, lol

  2. an unexpected 5 for me this week - but 4 are novels from the Charity shop and the 1 non-fiction I think you've already read or is already on your list.

    Fiction:

Wolves of Winter by Dan Jones
The Last Snow by Stina Jackson
All Those Explosions Were Someone Else's Fault by James Alan Gardner
They Promised Me the Gun Wasn't Loaded by James Alan Gardner

    Non-Fiction:

The Ground Breaking - The Tulsa Race Massacre and the America City's Search for Justice by Scott Ellsworth

    1. DAN JONES! Except, I am upset with him. He appeared on the Bill Maher show and Bill Maher is a racist asshole who supports trump. And Dan does not like trump, but said being on Maher's show was a great experience and his favorite and all that. So, Dan and I might be breaking up. I am genuinely very upset about this.

I did read The Ground Breaking and had mixed feelings about it, but also found a lot of it valuable.

    2. Ugh... Bill MAHER.... [shudder] I think that Mr Jones definitely needs to be put on 'notice' for that one!!

  3. As usual, you've got a great mix of titles here! I've got a pile of ARCs sitting on my desk right now, all of which come out in the next few weeks. So I've got my work cut out for me. Naturally, I'm reading something entirely different instead :)

    1. As you should, because that's just what we do, lol. I am finishing up my library books and then focusing on ARCs. At this point they keep giving them to me even though my NetGalley ratio is only 67%, so I hope that means they know I will get to them when I get to them, lol.
