You have a great assortment of books here, Sarah. I hope you enjoy them all 😊
ReplyDeleteThank you! The JFK Jr one was a tough read, as was To Poison a Nation.
DeletePerfect Gift looks like a great read for spooky season! I hope you enjoy your new books and have a great weekend. - Katie

I was so excited for it, for exactly that reason - spooky season! But it ended up being kind of a let-down. The writing just wasn't that great and the characters were kind of flat.
DeleteTwo Weeks worth, plus a Mall trip (brunch with a gamer friend), so....
ReplyDeleteFiction:
Faithful by Alice Hoffman
Ink Blood Sister Scribe by Emma Torzs
Four Seasons in Japan by Nick Bradley
Starling House by Alix E Harrow
How to Solve Your Own Murder by Kristen Perrin
Non-Fiction:
Conflict - The Evolution of Warfare from 1945 to Gaza by David Petraeus and Andrew Roberts
The Undercover Economist Strikes Back - How to Run - or Ruin - an Economy by Tim Harford
Footmarks - A Journey into Our Restless Past by Jim Leary
I really liked Starling House a lot! Footmarks has gone on the TBR, thanks a lot. I have seen How to Solve Your Own Murder around a lot and seeing you purchase it, means I should finally read it. Luckily the library has it so it gets to bypass the TBR lol
DeleteI get all of my current reads from NG too. Hope you like the book.

I have been trying to be so good and get caught up on NetGalley, but publishers keep printing books that I'm interested in, lol. Unfortunately Perfect Girl was a huge letdown, so it'll at least be an easy review to write.
DeleteSome nice additions. Happy Reading.
ReplyDeleteI really liked Horror Movie!
ReplyDeleteHoping to get it read this weekend. We had conferences on Wednesday and Thursday, so no school today. Eleanor is with her dad this weekend, so I am going to try to split my time evenly between reading and finishing our bracelets!
DeleteThank you! So far, so good. The JFK Jr one and To Poison a Nation were both really good books, but hard to read because of the topics.
