  1. I understand this completely. I am doing a no library month with Kami and I am only reading books I own or have said I would review. I am not sure how many I have read this month that I own, I feel like at least 5...Good luck!

    1. I really NEED to say no more library for a while, but Eleanor reads just as much as I do, so I can't cut off her supply! Good luck to you as well!

  2. So many new books again. "Invincible Louisa" is still on my wishlist.

Thanks for visiting my good, bad, and ugly TTT this week.

    1. I took some of these off because I had not made progress for a while, but I decided to put everything up once more that is still on my Goodreads Currently Reading shelf. I am hoping it motivates me...we'll see!

    2. I always think, next month I'm going to read those books and then life interferes ... I mean, other books. LOL

    3. YES! That is why I am trying to put off going to the library for a while. I keep finding interesting non-fiction in the new releases section and it puts off me reading everything else I already own. We have such difficult lives, lol

    4. So far I am doing well and have stayed away. But it's only been two days, lol, so...

    5. Hahaha, and it must be hard with Eleanor, you have to go for her and will definitely find books for you.

    6. Yes!! Although we have checked out a few longer chapter books to read lately. But the librarians always take note of things they think she will like, so we always have recs whenever we go in. I love that despite being a massive library system with something like 16 branches, librarians really take time to get to know their patrons.

    1. Two Truths and a Lie is decent so far, I don't know for sure yet because I am not even halfway yet, but it's creepy. I have not read Tidepool, who is the author?

    1. I seriously do not remember this one, but the cover is gorgeous and looks vaguely familiar, so I guess you did?? Our library doesn't have it so I am going to request the purchase ASAP!

  5. Looks like you're making progress. And you have the freedom to DNF a book. Me too! That's been freeing, to realize I don't have to read a book all the way through. Sometimes I'll get to about 15 or 20 percent and then just skip to the last 10 or 15 % to see how it wraps up, lol

    1. I used ot hate DNF-ing because I am super competitive with myself and want to #READALLTHEBOOKS. But there are way too many good books yet to read for me to waste my time on trash so I have gotten a lot more comfortable tossing books that turn out to be nonsense.

    1. Yes!! I am trying to not get any library books for a while in order to get to some of these on my Kindle and physical shelves.

    1. It's a very cool book, I really like it. It's not really one that you can read straight through, otherwise everyone becomes a jumble of names and dates swirling together. But it is so thorough that I feel like it is a must for Titanic fans.
