    1. OMGgggggg...I've read Irish Assassins and Tudors in Love. The Rule of Laws, The Great Mortality (already on my TBR), and Twlilight Cities look fantastic. My library has Mortality so I guess I am picking it up soon!

  3. Oooh, some fun ones here. I need to read more of Rachel Harrison's books, I had a lot of fun with Cackle! I wasn't a big fan of Like, I felt it was very rambly, despite making some good points.

I'm curious about The Other Ancient Civilisations, sounds like it's a bit of a similar theme to The Far Edges of the Known World, which I read a couple of months ago and enjoyed.

    1. I am really loving Harrison's books. So Thirsty was not my favorite, but I loved Play Nice and am reading Cackle now.

Possibly? I have not read Far Edges so I can't say for sure but it's about the ancient civilizations that tend to get overshadowed by Egypt, Greece, and Rome. My personal favorite was the chapter on Cahokia, but there is a lot of good stuff there. I think you'd like it. I feel like our tastes are similar in non-fiction.

  4. I brought home ten books from the library this week! I needed the emotional support after a hard day at work. I'm hoping to make progress with them today since I don't have work. :)

    1. I'm so sorry! We just finished conferences Thursday so I am on spring break. It's wonderful and I will be doing nothing but reading and sleeping for the next week!

  5. I had to stop myself from jumping at Cross my Heart I Hope You Die. I have too many ARCs already, but I do love that title!

    1. I have been so bad with NetGalley lately. I am on spring break now so my goal is to write as many ARC reviews as possible.

    3. Thank you! I am finally feeling not-so-tired and am motivated to write and not just lay on the couch and sleep. It's been MONTHS since I have written a review, so I am glad you are still eager to read them!
