Top Ten Tuesday!

Hooray for a TTT that I can participate in! It has been a little bit since there has been a topic I can make work for my non-fiction treasures and boy, do I have some good ones on the list this week!

If you are unfamiliar with Top Ten Tuesday, it is a weekly meme started years ago by The Broke and the Bookish. Tons of bloggers participate each week and it is always a lot of fun to take a look at what others come up with. It is also a good way to connect with those who share similar reading tastes.

This week's theme is Top Ten Unique Book Titles. I have selected some fun ones that amuse me, some that are salacious, and those that cover more serious subjects and deserve attention. They are not listed in any particular order. Leave a comment about my choices and let me know what you think!

Happy Reading!
Sarah

    1. I am IN LOVE with those covers. Fiction is not normally my thing, but the story line was so unique and I ended up liking them quite a bit. I have also read Hearts Are Like Balloons, which I liked as well. Candace is pretty neat :)

    2. Good to know 'Balloons' is a good read. I'm really curious about it - and now may have to pick up this duo, too. :)

Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland, Sarah.

    3. It is, I liked it. Have a tissue or two handy. The only thing that I did not like was the viewpoint in which it was told, but that is my criticism of every book I have ever read that is in first person present tense. I think it is because I have read so much non-fiction, it is weird for me to be puts inside a character's head.

I enjoy your blog, thanks for visiting here as well :)

    1. Thank you! When I was first setting up my blog, every cute/witty/funny name I tried was taken. I was getting frustrated and in a huff I literally said, "UGH! All the book blog names are taken!" And thus, my blog was born.

I love non-fiction. It is rare for me to read fiction anymore, especially when the books are based on people I love who actually existed. But now and then something catches me interest - there were so many more to add to the list, this easily could have been thirty books!

    1. Hey Barb, thanks for coming by. I shudder to think what the sequel might be called. Maybe 'Atomic Winter: The End of Life as We Know It". The antics in DC right now are appalling and terrifying.

I hope you find some titles you like, and I am always happy to give more recommendations!

    1. Thanks AJ! It was born out of frustration that every word combination I tried when first setting up my blog was already in use. I literally said out loud , "UGH! All the book blog names are taken!" Boom. Named.

I hope you found some titles of interest, all of the ones I listed I found to be pretty good. This list could have gone on for quite a while.
