Stacking the Shelves #153

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

None again!
Obviously we've had major health-related things going on with my grandpa this week, which I talked about HERE, so book acquisition has not been important. But I still want to see what you've gotten ahold of this week.

I also posted some things on the 30th you may have missed.

Happy Reading!

  1. Just about the only thing more important than books..... Family. Hope that your Grandpa is on his way out of the woods by now.

Only FOUR for me this week. All non-fiction:

The Fifth Risk - Undoing Democracy by Michael Lewis
All Against All - The Long Winter of 1933 and the Origins of the Second World War by Paul Jankowski
How To Argue With a Racist - History, Science, Race and Reality by Adam Rutherford
Pandora's Jar - Women in the Greek Myths by Natalie Haynes

    1. He is, thank you!

I am remaining a safe distance away but want to know how 'How to Argue with a Racist' works out for you.

Just kidding, of course I added it to my TBR.

    2. No interest in Women in Greek Myths? The 'Racist' book seems to be about mostly genetics. I seem to have developed an interest in it lately following an Ancestry DNA test (results in about 2 weeks I think).

    3. Overlooked it in the rush to get the other one onto my TBR! It's now added as well.

  2. I hope Grandpa is doing much better by now.

  3. I'm sorry to hear about your grandpa! I hope all goes well and he is discharged soon!

    Take care be safe!

  4. I hope your grandpa is doing better today! I got a lot of books this week! But most of them were for my mum lol

    1. Thank you so much, Carrie! Since they are mainly for her, I hope your mom enjoys all her new treasures! lol

  5. Sending prayers for your grandfather. I hope he is doing better. Also thinking of you and hoping you are getting some rest.

Thanks for visiting my little book nook. I love talking books so leave a comment and let's chat!
