Stacking the Shelves #211

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

Library Treasures

Happy Reading!

  1. That's a big library book haul! Do you request ahead and wait for them to come in or do you just wander around and pick what looks good off the shelves? Hope you enjoy them all.

    1. I typically request them ahead of time based on my TBR or recs from fellow bloggers. Until my TBR is more under control, it is far too dangerous for me to just wander the stacks!

    1. I think I will wait to see how you like this one - I hope you hate it, lol. Just kidding, but perhaps your review alone will be sufficient for me.

    1. I liked it! Even when I kind of figured out what was going on, it was well-done. I think you will enjoy it.

  7. Glad you found all these library books to take home. I usually borrow too many to read and land up taking some back unread!

    1. I am a speed-reader when it comes to fiction, so I breeze through them one-a-day at least. If it is a weekend when my daughter is with her father, I can get a lot read. Non-fiction takes me more time, because it is my first love and those are the books I tend to take my time with.

  8. These are all new to me. I hope you enjoy them. I love library books but always feel rushed when I have weeks to get to them.

    1. I've gotten through most of them and really liked almost all of them! If no one is waiting for a book, we can renew three additional times. But our library system also did away with overdue fines temporarily during the height of COVID, and has since gotten rid of them altogether now. I don't feel so rushed, but definitely still try to get them back on time.
