    1. So many Tudor books. SO MANY. I am cautiously optimistic about the Benedict Arnold book, becuase I was in such a Revolutionary War slump for a while and maybe this will bring me out of it.

  4. The new standard of TWO for me - one of each as usual. Not sure if you'd be interested in the non-fiction...

    Fiction:

By the Pricking of Her Thumb by Adam Roberts

    Non-Fiction:

Around the World in 80 Books by David Damrosch

    1. I'll probably wait for your thoughts on the 80 Books book, because it interests me but I am SO BEHIND on ARCs.

  6. These days I don't know that most Americans would even RECOGNIZE the name Benedict Arnold, let alone hate him. Osama bin Laden surely takes that place today, I'd hope.

BTW, def reccommend "The Lives They Saved". It needed better editing but the content is good.

    1. I know, it makes me sad because the Revolutionary War was kind of a big deal.

I have read The Lives They Saved! Like you, I found the editing terrible and mentioned it in my Goodreads blurb review. So many mistakes, most unacceptable.

  7. OK, don't make me look at all those NetGalley covers. I may have to hop over there and that means more books on the reading list. LOL I try to limit myself, but.....those one clicks ....Have a super weekend.
