Would You Rather... #5

In case you missed my little announcement about the fun at the ER on May 6th, I have been a little less active than usual. I returned to work this Monday, May 14th, and have been doing well until yesterday when I was experiencing pain again. I am supposed to take it easy for the next few days and hopefully that will help.

A

B

...Have Option A or Option B?
Why?

(Remember, you are choosing ONLY based on how comfy/cozy it would be for reading!)

  1. Oooh, the first one definitely for me! It's beautiful. Makes me think of a vintage gypsy caravan :-)

    1. Yes, I love that one too! I think I would be more open to B if it was a bit bigger. Not sure if I could sit up in it, I am almost 5'10.

  2. I don't do ladders, not with my wonky knees! The first one does have a gypsy caravan/fortune teller booth about it!

    1. I don't mind the ladder, but I am not sure B is tall enough for me to sit up in, I am almost 5'10. But I love A because it looks so cozy.

  3. Totally A. Secluded and cozy. Plus I'd have a hell of a time going up and down that ladder in B!

    1. I love A also. I don't mind B and it also seems cozy. The ladder doesn't bother me, but I am tall and I am not sure I could sit up in that one.

  4. Oh I missed this one! Okay my immediate reaction was B, because it's elevated (why does that matter? I don't know), the blue fairy lights (and is that a corner window up there?) and the proximity of kitchen. Time for a snack? Just a quick trip down the stairs lol. Plus it reminds me of a starry night with the lights?

BUT... your reminder that we can only go by reading comfort makes me think A? Because it does look cozy, a little more open and easy to get in and out of? So yeah. Not crazy about how dark it is though, although it doe appear to have a lamp... I think my heart's with A. Needs to be bigger though.

    1. No worries! I am trying to be consistent and post sometime on Wednesdays, if that helps :)

It is super easy to get drawn into the perks of the whole space and not just the reading nook, isn't it?? That's why I had to put some kind of limit on it, otherwise we would all be debating forever ever possible aspect and never really come to any conclusions.

I ended up really liking A, for many of the same reasons mentioned by others, the gypsy-ish kind of feel to it. I love the dark wood, but agree that it will need more than that little lamp if I am to read in it. Perhaps if it was built attached to an outside wall, a nice little window would be just the thing to make it perfect for me.
