Stacking the Shelves #30

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature co-hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc. Never has my addiction been more obvious than when I am now keeping track of every single book I acquire.

I had such an awesome experience at the Palmer House Hotel last Saturday and Sunday. It is DEFINITELY haunted, but in a totally peaceful kind of way - to me, at least. I am posting about my experiences and you can read them all HERE.

What did you add to your stash this week?

Happy Reading!

    1. The OJ one was good, until it got to the part talking about OJ. It was kind of really absurd and I am glad I did not waste money on it!!

  2. If I had time, I'd like to look more into the history of where I live including the witch trials held here. Too many things of interest but not enough time!

    1. Yes, I would love to know about the witch trials - I would like to get a hold of a copy of James VI's book because I think it would be really interesting to read to understand the thought process - or lack of!

  3. I bought...nothing! Was really tempted to pick up a couple of Corey Doctorow novels, and probably will next week, but have resisted the temptation so far. One of my holds at the library finally came in, Andy Weir's "Artemis"..checked it out Friday morning, read it through. :)

    1. Thanks AJ! I looked around and there are books related to several different states. If you are interested, you should check out my three recent posts about my stay at the Palmer House Hotel - it is DEFINITELY haunted!!

  6. I am afraid if I read on haunted places I wouldn't sleep at night! I am currently reading The Atomic City Girls (hist. fiction, Janet Beard) digitally and just finished listening to The Invisible Wall (memoir, Harry Bernstein) both courtesy of my local library.
