    1. I actually do not read a whole lot of fiction. The last few weeks/months even, have been anomalies. Non fiction is my true love and those are the kinds of books I always choose first.

    1. I have tried and tried and tried to get into learning more about the Ottoman Empire but I just can't. Glad you can do it for me and report back anything I need to know! :)

    1. It's such an important book, but man is it dull in some places! But I am still plugging along.

    1. Thank you! Mom was planning to come on Tuesday and be here through Sunday, but plans quickly changed as cases have risen so now we won't have our Thanksgiving, but it is the safe thing to do and maybe we can go home for Christmas. I hope so, but it is not looking good. Stay safe friend, Happy Thanksgiving.

  7. It looks like you have some serious books there! I am still anxious about the world right now (especially COVID), so I'm sticking to lighter fare, mostly fantasy books. But I hope you enjoy your books, and have a lovely Thanksgiving.

    1. Last week was similar, found several book about Auschwitz specifically. Not sure what has suddenly pulled me back into WWII; it is uncomfortable and truly awful to read these books, but we must. I definitely understand wanting something lighter, COVID is especially disheartening now when cases are rising so drastically again. My county has seen over 10,000 new cases in the last five days. And I'm a teacher, so I am around people for as long as they choose to keep schools open. Blech. But, Thanksgiving is almost here and I am incredibly thankful for the health of myself and my loved ones. Happy Thanksgiving!
