Ah, George Orwell. I've never read any of his books.
DeleteThis will be my 5th of his (I think). I used to live around 7 miles from Wigan from ages 10-23 and actually (briefly) went to College there to retake some exams, so I've been there HUNDREDS of times. Its weirdly interesting to hear what it was like in the 1930's. GRIM!
