This week's topic is my winter TBR.
So...this is it. This book. I must have it. If you have not read a McManus book, I don't even understand what you are doing with your life.
Happy Reading!

Reviews, recommendations, memes, and general book-related musings on my favorite topics.
Everything will be dropped when this book comes out. :):)
ReplyDeleteEVERYTHING!!!! I am seriously about to lose my mind. I am #15 on six copies at the library. I asked OPL to purchase more and they added two more (originally only ordered four).
DeleteShort and sweet. I bet you'll be one of the people that reads every book on her Winter TBR ;-).
ReplyDeleteAnd this is probably the only year I will even be able to do so! :D
DeleteI don't know this author at all. Not my genre, I guess. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteNot typically my genre either. I mainly read non fiction. But I heard so much about the author's first book, and from then I was hooked. I will drop everything for McManus.
DeleteNice! I will be keeping my eye out for your review of this one.
ReplyDeleteI hope I can do the book justice!
DeleteI really need to pick up the first book! The plot seems so interesting.

One of Us is Lying was really good, I could not put it down. Two Can Keep a Secret was even better, I think, also with an interesting plot.
DeleteI must admit that I've never read one. I'm not even tempted. *ducks* :)
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy it!
WHAT?! I HAVE NOT CONVINCED YOU?! :) I never thought I would be much for the YA thrillers, but here I am with my short and sweet Winter TBR. I am SO excited for it.
DeleteYes, this is a book I definitely want to read.

ReplyDeleteMy TTT.
I hope so too! The anticipation is killllllling me!!!!
DeleteHah - love this post. I've not read this author (yet), but One of Us is Lying is on my TBR!
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
It's So good. I am really curious as to how the sequel will go and have avoided reading anything about it because I want it all to be a surprise.
DeleteHave you read Two Can Keep a Secret?
I still haven't read One of Us is Lying, but I will definitely push it up nearer the top of my TBR! :D
ReplyDelete- Louise
And while you're at it, make sure to also read Two Can Keep a Secret!
DeleteIf you say so, I will check it out. All I know about my winter TBR is that once I get through December, or maybe even sooner, I am reading mostly long books.
ReplyDeleteThen you will need a quick palette cleanser and these are perfect! Such good stories, very cleverly told. I am so glad I discovered Karen McManus! One of Us is Lying is the first book, and this is the sequel. She has another stand-alone, Two Can Keep a Secret. That's my fave one I think. So far, anyway.
DeleteI feel so bad but I haven't read One of Us Is Lying still! It sounds so good though... maybe I'll get around to it this winter?
ReplyDeleteKrystianna @ Volumes and Voyages
I hope you do! Two Can Keep a Secret is also really good (and a stand-alone).
Deletei take it the author is no relation to Pat MacManus, the Idaho humorist?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea who that is!
DeleteI still have to read her second book but I really enjoyed One of Us is Lying so I'm looking forward to checking out this sequel! Hope you enjoy it when it's out :)

Two Can Keep a Secret is sooooooo good. So good. Get to it! :)
DeleteWell, count me as one who has not read McManus and probably won't, but it's nice that you enjoy her. To each his/her own.
ReplyDeleteHer stories are clever, I am so glad I took a chance on the first one when it was recommended to me, despite being very much NOT non-fiction!
