Is anyone else having problems commenting on Blogger? I have been trying to catch up with comments from last week and this week, but when I try to respond to comments on my post the comment never publishes. I have also encountered the issue when I attempt to comment on others' Blogger blogs. Just trying to figure out if it is site-wide or something me-specific. On the other hand, if everyone is having trouble, then no one can comment here, so...
Anyway, just a heads-up to everyone on Blogger, I am not ignoring you. I am trying to reply and visit, so hopefully this gets sorted soon!
I have had a TON of comments on my blog going to spam and only caught it this week. And when I try to comment on other blogs they seem to go through maybe half the time?
ReplyDeleteNo, it’s separate from the spam issue. I’ve tried responding to comments or commenting on Blogger blogs and when I hit ‘publish’ it just sits and thinks, then says there’s an error.

DeleteOnly experiencing the 'Spam' problem we've been talking about lately. Otherwise things seem 'OK' (as much as that means these days!).
ReplyDeleteIt is so weird and was happening all last night. After I posted this, I was able to reply finally to a bunch of comments and start commenting on other Blogger blogs. But then a few minutes later it started happening again where I would click 'publish' and nothing would happen. I tried refreshing the page, closing the browser and opening a new window, everything. So weird.

DeleteIt was occurring for me on any blog hosted on Blogger, so that is what made me think it was a site issue. So weird, but I think fixed now?
DeleteYes, I’ve been having a lot of problems with this. I haven’t been able to comment on Greg’s site in ages, for example. No idea why.
ReplyDeleteThat is weird, and there are two issues going on simultaneously. The first issue for those of us using Blogger have been finding that tons of regular visitors are randomly being assigned to the spam folder. There's no rhyme or reason to it. Greg commented on a post twice, one posted and one went to spam. So weird.
DeleteThe second issue was this that just occurred the night I posted about it. When I would hit 'publish' to respond to comments here on my blog, or try to comment on posts from other Blogger blogs, it would just say 'publishing' and eventually time out and give me an error.
So, it could be either of those. Who knows, maybe many of your comments went to spam and actually did post!
