Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

Happy Reading

I just finished a re read of Long Way To A Small Angry Planet. Have you ever read?
ReplyDeleteI haven't. I am not super into sci-fi, though. Is there murder? Because if there is murder, you know I would probably like it.
DeleteThere is, sort of murder, but not really? It's more like slice of life aboard a found family starship, but she is so thought provoking and this book makes you wan to DISCUSS. I think you'd like.
DeleteI will keep it in mind and add it to my CK-Sub-TBR list, lol
DeleteThe Library looks interesting. I hope you enjoy both of these. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI loved the photos, it was so beautiful. The other one I DNF-ed.
Delete5 from me this week - but mostly fiction which shouldn't interest you!
ReplyDeleteNon-Fiction:
The Tyranny of Merit - What's Become of the Common Good by Michael J Sandel
Fiction:
Warriors for the Working Day by Peter Elstob
Sword of Bone by Anthony Rhodes
The Fall by Louise Jensen
Lorna Doone by R D Blackmore
Oh thank goodness!
DeleteI discovered your blog today and you get the award for best blog name....I love it! That's how we all feel when looking for our domain name, right? Will check out your content :)
ReplyDeleteAwww, thank you!
DeleteThat's exactly when it happened, when I was first setting up my blog. I tried every witty or funny combo with my name and various book-related stuff I could think of. All of them were in use so I literally slammed my hands on my desk and said, "UGH! All the book blog names are taken!" ...voila! Here we are.
Something similar happened with my Blog 'handle'. After 45 minutes of frustration and beating my head against the screen I used a combination of an Encyclopaedia & happenstance to pick 'Cyberkitten'. The rest, as they say, has been a train-wreck.... [lol]
DeleteBut the BEST kind of train-wreck?! I'd say YES. I have found so many moe books because of you!
