Yeah... Sorry about that..... But, after my mini-splurge *last* week, there's a zero from me THIS week.
ReplyDeleteBut...are you really? lol
DeleteThe Word Hord and Oxford...Book look interesting. I hope you enjoy them all!
ReplyDeleteGetting to them after making the rounds this morning. Looking forward to them!
DeleteWord Hord! I keep forgetting about that one. The only thing I bought was "Taxi", a collection of interviews with Cairo cabbies about life in Egypt circa 2010-2011, right before the Arab springter.
ReplyDeleteI will have to look for the Taxi one.
DeleteI'm interested in your reaction to Murder Road. It is the first St. James book in a while that I've held off on reading. I've been disappointed in her last couple of books and fear this one is just continuing her usual formula.
ReplyDeleteI ended up really liking it. I was not a fan of Cold Cases, it was such a disappointment. There were some things that were a little far-fetched, but overall I really liked it. I don't think anything she does will ever top Sun Down or Broken Girls for me, though. Have you read Ghost 19?
