I am reviving this little feature after eight years. You might see a couple recycled from when I did this in 2016, but they were funny then and they are still funny now. Occasionally they will be more introspective or comforting. No matter what, they will be about reading and books.

Even better, you can get them from the library and help keep these important community places open for everyone else as well as yourself.

I think it is funny that the joy I get from buying books can be equal or even more than when I actually read them. Perhaps that is why I have more unread books on my shelves/piles!
ReplyDeleteI have this same problem with library books. The stack keeps growing, despite how much I have been reading this past week and weekend. I just love having books anywhere, knowing I have so many topics to choose from. That is the joyful thing for me, I am not stuck with one book at a time.
