Spell the Month in Books | December

I am FINALLY getting around to this one, which is hosted by Jana @ Reviews from the Stacks. I have seen Marianne do this one forever and keep saying I would start...and then forget because, well, I don't know.

It's really easy. Just find book titles which spell the month in question. Jana does post optional themes for the months, if you like having that guide. I will not be using them, as themes are usually harder to do with non-fiction.

All of these are from my TBR, so hopefully it is yet another way for me to focus on that.

Happy Reading!

  1. I was doing this one at the beginning of the year and then stopped. It is pretty easy and a great way to showcase books.

    1. It really is! I put all 12 posts together over Christmas break and scheduled them for the first of each month, because I had been wanting to try it for ages but then kept forgetting about it. I started from the very beginning of my Goodreads TBR and I'd love to say I've read all of them this year but, well, we all know that's not true and my Tackling the TBR posts can attest to that, lol

  2. I'm always a little behind you but managed in the meantime.
Your list is just great, as always. So many highly interesting topics. I totally understand that you love non-fiction so much.
I'd like to see a dystopian novel where Henry Fitzroy survived his father and brother and took over the throne. Or where Edward VI lived. How different history would have been.

    1. Thank you! I would LOVE a book like that! I few years ago I read a book about 1066 that had all kinds of stories about what might have happened, had literally ANYTHING gone differently. If Harold had defeated William, if Harald had defeated Harold, if Edgar had ruled, and so on; it was so good. There were also some fantastical stories as well that I loved, but I don't want to spoil anything if you decide to read it. Here's my review:
