Monday Meme #71


I am reviving this little feature after eight years. You might see a couple recycled from when I did this in 2016, but they were funny then and they are still funny now. Occasionally they will be more introspective or comforting. No matter what, they will be about reading and books.


Aaaaaaand that's why a Kindle is a must, even if I always prefer a real book when given the choice.

      I always worry that I will end up wanting to DNF a book when I am out and about, so the Kindle is what goes with me whenever I have to wait somewhere.

    Most of the time I carry both a print book and my overstuffed ereader, just in case.

      I mainly stick to the Kindle, just in case I would end up wanting to DNF whatever I am reading. Then I am lugging around a book I don't want. Easier to just have the Kindle.

    Ebooks have become my saving grace in this situation. Still, I don't stop myself from bringing a physical book, too...just in case!

      I don't typically bring physicals books - what if I end up wanting to DNF? Then I am stuck with a dumb book and nothing to read!
