Stacking the Shelves #83

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature co-hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

    1. Thank goodness, I don't need any more non-fiction ideas. Also, WHY WHY WHY Philippa Gregory??!!

    2. LOL! - I KNEW you'd pick up on that..... [grin]

Feb is one of my alternate 'no books bought online' months so there's a lot less non-fiction being bought. That'll ramp up a bit in March and then explode in April as I retire/celebrate and it's my 60th birthday in April so..... CRAZY time!

    3. OF COURSE I WOULD, because she is the wooooorst!!! lol

I better kick it into high gear removing books from my TBR then, because I have a feeling that once you have retired, it will increase exponentially!

    1. I am super psyched about the Aggie Morton series. An imaging of Agatha Christie's life?! Yes please!!

And yes, Momma always comes through with the gift cards, Amazon for me and Chipotle for Eleanor. But she makes us share them, lol

  5. 4 books in for me this week:
    Cantoras by Carolina de Robertis
The End of Mr Y by Scarlett Thomas. Both of these are library books by authors I love.
Four Novels by Marguerite Duras, bought used from Abe Books. I added to my TBR by deciding to read all of her books.
Barn 8 by Deb Olin Unferth, just came in the mail from my Nervous Breakdown Book Club subscription and I am excited because I have heard good things about the author.

    1. Thanks Carole - and you must read it ASAP! I can't stop rereading bits and pieces in between other books. I love One of Us is Lying most, but Next is reeeeally good.
