State of the ARC is a monthly feature hosted by Avalinah's Books.
I am temporarily hosting for Evelina. She took a brief hiatus in the fall of 2019, but has since returned, YAY! I asked in early January when she might be starting up State of the ARC again, and to my absolute delight she asked if I wanted to take over for the time being, until she is able to get back into it. So, until then, thanks for joining me here!
I am still trying to figure out the fancy-schmancy graphs that Evelina does and she has been very helpful in pointing me in the right direction. Until then, I apologize for the boring data display.

When I first started blogging my monthly State of the ARC I felt like I was drowning in ARCs. Lucky for me I guess, everyone else had TONS more, so then I wasn't quite so stressed. Still, my main goal was to get my NetGalley feedback ratio above 80% and thanks to this meme, I slowly but surely clawed my way up. At my highest I was at 97%. I am currently at 92% even with those 4 NetGalley ARCs waaaaaay overdue so now that I am back in the swing of things, getting those reviews done will be priorities.
How have you done with your ARCs in the last couple months without State of the ARC around? Did you keep posting your own, or are you just starting back again now?

I still have so many ARCs I have never read scattered among the other books on my shelves. I have stopped accepting them because I feel so guilty if I don't read them, though I realize they play a huge part in the marketing of books these days.
ReplyDeleteI have really had to tone down my NetGalley use, and I have some hard copies to get to still. But I keep getting distracted and that's terrible and no one is ever going to give me hard copies again if I do not get moving on the ones I do have. #BookwormProblems, eh?
