Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

Erm... That's almost her entire catalogue isn't it? [lol]
ReplyDeleteA friend and I had a day trip to a Tank Museum on Wednesday so... they had a shop... with books in it. I'm confident that you won't be interested in them - with one *possible* exception.
Fiction:
Alamein by Iain Gale
Non-Fiction:
Kursk - The Greatest Battle Eastern Front 1943 by Lloyd Clark
The Last of the Ebb, The Battle of the Aisne, 1918 by Sidney Rogerson
Tanks - 100 Years of Evolution by Richard Ogorkiewicz
Citizen Soldiers - The US Army from the Normandy Beaches to the Surrender of Germany by Stephen E Ambrose
The Black Panthers - A Story of Race, War, and Courage by Gina M DiNicolo
Lol, pretty much. There might be one or two that our library system doesn't have, I have not checked yet.
DeleteOf course you found books at a museum, that's what we do! Definitely want to know what you think of the Black Panthers one, which I am sure you already guessed!
Yup, I assumed 'Black Panthers' would be the one that piqued your interest.
DeleteFor sure. There is so much I don't know about them yet.
DeleteNatalie Richards! I mostly liked Five Total strangers, didn't LOVE it, but will be super curious to see what you think. Just disregard a little disbelief at times :)
ReplyDeleteI think it is my least fave of all I have read so far. It wasn't terrible, but definitely weaker - because yeah, you have to suspend some belief here and there ;)
DeleteI had some serious issues towards the end- actually all the way through it, but I liked the premise. Not amazing though for sure.
DeleteThe premise was great! But I think the stalker was super obvious, in addition to many other issues.
