QUARANTINE EDITION! Tackling the TBR Week 46: Dec 8 - Dec 14, 2020

My TBR has been out of control for YEARS. Then in January of 2019 I started tracking weekly my true reading/acquiring habits, and voila! I have been able to keep on top of things a little bit better. I may never get below 1,000 books, but at least I won't be topping out over 5,000! When a book cover is linked, it goes to the review here on my blog.

I will be posting on the 7th, 14th, 21st, and the last day of the month. Feel free to join in if you'd like!

If a book is linked in the 'Books Read' section, you can click the cover to go to my review.

I never thought this could happen, but I am so close to being under 3K for the first time in YEARS! The one good thing that came out of being in quarantine is the insane number of books that I read for myself, and that Eleanor and I read together.

Any of these catch your eye? Have you already read any? Let me know!

Happy Reading!

Sarah

    1. I too can never pass up a book about Shakespeare or his times, despite the fact that we probably know everything we are ever going to know.

I LOVED Obama's book. As I was reading, I was hearing his voice in my head, like we were having a conversation. It's so authentic and genuine. I loved it.

  2. Ahhh, the nothing-to-do-but-read perks of quaratine...only good thing about it!

  3. I'm on hold for the audio of A Promised Land! I'm really looking forward to listening to it! :)

    1. Absolutely fantastic. I was hearing his voice reading it, and it was such a comfort. He was honest about things that were screwed up and it's 100% him talking. You can tell there was no ghost writer (as has already been said, despite what those who don't like him might say), this is pure Obama.

  5. My husband is currently reading a Promised Land. He is absolutely loving it! I am not sure when I'll finally get to read it since I am waaaaay behind in all of my reads. I still need to read Michelle Obama's book. lol

    1. It is SO GOOD! Reading it was like just sitting with him and letting him talk. It was also a comfort, because we do have people who can lead this country and do it well, and we will get there again - hopefully sooner rather than later. I loved this book so much - and Michelle's too!
