Stacking the Shelves #127

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature co-hosted by Tynga's Reviews and Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

Happy Reading!

  1. I didn't get any books this week as I've just been rereading some of my favourites :)

    1. That's an excellent way to spend the time! I wasn't intending to pick anything up this week but every now and then KU taps me on the shoulder and shoves a book onto my Kindle :)

  3. i was walking down the street in Chihuahua; Mexicans kept talking to me, saying "Su presidente es muerte". since i was down there for a year, it didn't mean a lot to me until i'd returned home, then it hit me... i still think there was more to it than one shooter...

    1. Thank you Lynn! I found it much better than the author's other work I have read, and better than other books on the subject as well.

    1. Definitely interesting and terrifying. I can't imagine something more scary than something so innocent as walking across a quad on campus suddenly being completely obliterated by a madman with a gun.

  7. I lost my free trial of KU back in September, and I've been debating whether or not I should get it back. It's so addicting having "free" books.

Happy reading! Thanks for visiting Shell's Stories!

    1. I am getting close to the end of my free trial again. I basically just use the free trials because when I was paying for it, I just was not able to find enough books of interest to me to justify it. So, use the free trial, cancel it at the end. Wait a few months, and I am eligible again.

    1. Oh dear. I had better get to clearing out books on my TBR then that I am no longer interested in, because I have a feeling there will be an influx of new books coming my way lol!

    1. Solid. I have yet to read Tana French but I know we have discussed her before. If I were to read one of her books, which do you think I should start with?
