Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. This week is Books I Am Looking Forward to in the First Half of 2021. There's only one on the list, and I have been waaaaaaaaaiting for ages. I compulsively checked my library catalog every day after my purchase request was approved and as soon as possible, I put it on hold. Few authors destroy the souls of their readers so well, yet keep us coming back for more.
Happy Reading,
Sarah
I knew I had heard the name Courtney Summers somewhere! I hope you can read this sooner rather than later. This is always a hard week for me because there's only a few I'm dying to read. I had to list a few from the second half of the year.
ReplyDeleteThat was definitely probably me! I am so excited for this book, I can't wait!!!!
DeleteOh wow. I've heard of Sadie and had it on my list for years. Knowing the level of anticipation you have for this new book means it has to be on my TBR this year too!
ReplyDeleteIt is SO good. Like, so so so good. Read it ASAP! Her writing is just, indescribable. Cracked Up to Be is also super good. Same with Some Girls Are, All the Rage, This is Not a Test, and Please Remain Calm. OMG READ THEM ALLLLLLL! :)
DeleteNew Courtney Summers- yeah. Sounds good too. CULT
ReplyDeleteI KNOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!
DeleteI've been hearing good things about Sadie but haven't read it myself. https://readwithstefani.com/most-anticipated-book-releases-of-2021/
ReplyDeleteSadie is so fantastic. I have loved all of Courtney's books though, so I might be a little biased. But I truly think Sadie is my favorite of all her books, then probably Cracked Up to Be, All the Rage, and Some Girls Are. She's amazing, I love Courtney Summers SO MUCH!
DeleteI hope you enjoy it when you get the chance! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI hope so too, thanks for coming by!
DeleteI'm so curious about The Project.
ReplyDeleteMy post.
I am practically going to explode just thinking about how much longer I have to wait. Have you read any of her other books?
DeleteOhhhh I had no idea Courtney Summers had a new book coming out! Sadie was amazing. Added to my TBR.
ReplyDeleteYES!!! Sadie wrecked me, big time but it was sooooo good. Have you read any of her other books? If not, I recommend Cracked Up to Be, All the Rage, and Some Girls Are. Her zombie apocalypse books are also great too - This is Not a Test and Please Remain Calm. I will read anything she ever writes.
DeleteThis was such an interesting story, I really hope you get to put your hands on this one soon! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Jordan! The anticipation is killing me!!
DeleteAs someone who routinely stares at my holds at the library, just waiting for my turn, this post speaks to me. Hope you love this one ... even if it is soul destroying.
ReplyDeleteYes! I check my library's website every day sometimes, just to see how much closer I am to the books I am waiting for. I think I will love it, I have never met a Courtney Summers book that I didn't like. And she is the master at totally sucking you in, then destroying every character you love. I don't know why I like her books so much, now that I put that into words, lol. Just kidding, I know why - because she does it all so well.
DeleteThat cover is so cool! And knowing that author, the book will be too. I hope you get to read it sooner than later.
ReplyDeleteThanks Deanna! I love the cover too, so creepy and perfect for the story. About a month to go!
DeleteCourtney Summers, eh? I liked This is Not a Test and All the Rage, but Sadie was "meh" for me. The Project seems unsettling. 😨
ReplyDeleteI really loved Sadie, I think it is probably my fave of all her books. But Cracked Up to Be is a close second. I loves All the Rage and This is Not a Test. Did you read Some Girls Are? Also fantastic.
