I post my reading goals every year on January 1st and you can see the original post HERE. Here they are once again, and it's too soon to tell if I will be successful or not, but I have a feeling those ARCs will be the death of me.
1. Read 250 books
2. Get NetGalley ratio back to 90% or better
3. Read more from TBR
4. TBR below 2,000
5. Prep posts again (TTT, Books from the Backlog, FLF, Tackling the TBR, STS)
We'll see how this all goes!

DeleteI envy you that you can even aim at 250 books. I would love to be able to read even 150 (and retain any of it). Good luck on your goals.

Yes, prepping is key! I always put it off because I think it will tae so long, but once I actually sit down and do it, it takes like, 15 minutes. I already have TTT, Books From the Backlog, and FLF through the first two weeks of April. Happy Reading!

ReplyDeleteI am optimistic for now. Right now I am two books ahead of my goal, but I am also getting back into my non-fiction, which takes so much longer for me to read. I can breeze through fiction in a couple hours.

DeleteThese all seem like reasonable goals. I'm tempted to put my GR goal at 250 since I read almost that many in 2023, but I think I'm going to keep it at 200 for now. I can always move it up, right? Good luck with your goals!

DeleteGood luck! Reading books from my TBR is my goal too. I have way too many unread books sitting around.
ReplyDeleteYES!! So many just sitting on my to-read shelf. Most will get sold back to Half Price Books when I am done and it would be nice if I could just get motivated to read them first.
