Top Ten Tuesday | Books I Meant to Read in 2023 but Didn’t Get To

 


Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl.

I am a major mood reader, so I do not really single out specific books I want to read at a specific time, unless they are author gifts, ARCs, etc. Instead, here are the last ten books I added to my TBR that I hope to get to before the apocolypse.

    I can't judge the books, because they are all pictures and I'm a screen reader user. Anyway, happy reading!

      I am trying to only get books from the library that are on my TBR. The problem is, when I search for a book it brings up others on the same topic that aren't actually on my TBR. But obviously I need to read ALL of them.

    I have 'Warrior' and 'Ancestors' from that bunch, oh, and 'Origins of the Irish'.... (obviously!). Hopefully I'll get to at least *one* of those this year!

    Ugh, can I also use the impending doom of an apocalypse as an excuse for how my TBR gets so big and towers over by 5' 6" self?! But seriously, those look like some hefty books! Enjoy your 2024!

    I am a serious mood reader, too! I don't think I've heard of any of the books on your list. Hopefully you enjoy them before apocalypse-time :)

      Sometimes it is a problem. Like right now, there are 54 books on my 'currently reading' shelf on Goodreads. It's not usually THAT bad, but the last year has been kind of chaotic.
