❆❆❆❆❆SNOW DAY TOMORROW❆❆❆❆❆
The bummer part of the impending storm is that Eleanor is at her dad's tonight and the roads are supposed to be shit tomorrow because of the ice - we are not actually supposed to get much snow, between 2-5 inches. This means that if the roads are terrible, I probably won't get to bring her home until Saturday, because even though I know how to drive on wintery roads, none of these idiots in Omaha do and I don't trust any of 'em on the road with my baby.
So, until I can get my girl home, I will be all snuggled up with a good book or ten. Happy Birthday to me!
Happy Reading,
Sarah
Stay warm and enjoy your reading. Happy birthday!
ReplyDeleteIt was a great day, thank you!
DeleteHappy Birthday. Enjoy watching the snow outside with a cup of hot chocolate in one hand and a good book in the other.
ReplyDeleteAnd Eleanor and I did pretty much that - puzzles, books, games, and snow. A great day!
DeleteHappy birthday!!!! Enjoy! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Greg, it was wonderful!
DeleteHappy birthday! Stay warm and cozy. :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Stephen, we did! Lots of books and puzzles and watching the snow while snuggled up inside.
DeleteHappy Birthday!! I believe in birthday week, so I hope it is still going fine.
ReplyDeleteYES! When I was in college especially, I had a whole birthday week (basically it gave us more excuses to go downtown to the bars and not feel guilty for drinking and partying on Tuesday nights). I fully support the celebration of birthday weeks, thank you!!
DeleteHappy Birthday to you! Sorry if you didn't get to spend it with Eleanor, but yay for quality reading time instead!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Luckily her dad was able to bring her home. I could not get out of our neighborhood because of the ice, but he was able to bring her before it got bad. We cuddled and watched movies and read books and put together puzzles and it was wonderful!
DeleteHappy Birthday, Sarah! I remember a snow storm that occurred when my oldest was little and at my mom's house. It was weird being snowed in alone. I hope you had some good reading time.
ReplyDeleteThank you Carole! Eleanor's dad was able to bring her home before the roads got too terrible, so we snuggled and read books and did puzzles and watched movies. It was a great day - I imagine it would have been very weird if Eleanor was not home during the storm.
DeleteI'm glad you had a lovely day and your girl got home before it got bad. Much nicer way to have a snow day than alone.:)
DeleteAgreed, and thank you!! Snow days are much more fun when you can snuggle up together and read and nap and watch movies. Hopefully we have one or two more before winter is over!
