    1. I heard, what with the mutating strains of COVID now. Geez, UK, thanks! Just kidding, we probably started it because we are really good at fucking up literally everything. Enjoy your lockdown!

  2. I had some eBook library holds come in. Lord knows if I will get to them before they expire.
    Red Pill by Hari Kunzru
    Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy
The Darkest Evening by Ann Cleeves

I will get to the last two because they are for reading groups.

    1. I hope you do! That's always the worst, to have just a little bit left and it expires or something. I will we got as long for ebooks as we do for physical ones.

    1. It's AWFUL! The writing is really bad and the book needs professional editing. it was so repetitive and really just not good. The thought process of the main character in particular was really stilted and weird. Don't spend money on this one! It is really too bad, because the message could have been so powerful, if it was edited and written decently. The publisher is Wattpad Books, which I did not know before I requested it. So, I should not be surprised that it is no bueno.

    2. Aw that sucks. With a title like that... :) I was looking forward to some revenge smackdown- style lol. But yeah Wattpad. I hate to say that, but probably not a super big surprise.

    3. Wattpad is doing themselves no favors by not using professional editors. There's no way a pro let that get to NetGalley.

    1. I was super excited by the premise but the writing was pretty bad. Needs a good couple rounds with professional editors.

    1. I was so psyched because I love the premise. But the writing was really bad and in major need of professional editors. It's always such a bummer when that part of the process is overlooked.
