Happy Sunday!

I started reading to my daughter before she was born. I read Where the Wild Things Are every night from about six months on, and continued after she was born. Eleanor was not really a fussy baby, but when she would get a bit cranky, it was usually between 6:30 and 8 PM. It never failed, even in those early days, that once I started reading Where the Wild Things Are, she would be calmed and quieted, her eyes never leaving me.

Happy Reading,
Sarah

  1. My Mum spent hours reading to and then with my sister and I when we were children. Giving us her love of books was such a wonderful gift.

    1. YES!! Such a wonderful gift that my mom gave to me and I am passing on to my girl. Those are some of my best, earliest memories, reading with my mom also.
