  1. Good. I see you finally got some of the books you had on order!

Just four from me - 2 of each - but you're safe again this week.

    Fiction:

    The Cruiser by Warren Tute
No Human Enemy by John Gardner

    Non-Fiction:

The Blues - A Very Short Introduction by Elijah Wald
Germany 1945 - From War to Peace by Richard Bessel

    1. It took forever, but yes finally! I just finished The Broken Girls this morning and I LOVED IT. Now I am even more impatient for The Sun Down Motel (same author), the book that started this library binge to begin with!

I will be interested to know your thoughts on Germany 1945.

  2. Only one for me this week. If the library doesn't open soon, I may have to buy some more books!
The Good Family Fitzgerald by Joseph Di Prisco came in from my Nervous Breakdown Book Club subscription.

    1. Ours are now offering curbside pick-up at certain locations - our library system is big, I think there are 16 branches? Maybe yours will do that too?

    2. I know ours has limited how many can be checked out at a time, obviously they can't haul 40 books at a time out for people like me. But something is better than nothing. Even so, I have stayed away from libraries even so far.

    1. I just finished it today and it was so good. The stories came together in such a morbid and lovely way. I am still just thinking about it, definitely in book hangover mode right now!

    1. IT IS SOOOOOO GOOD!!! If you do not own it, it was just $1.99 on Amazon yesterday. I went looking to see how much Sun Down was, because I am getting impatient.
