    1. He's fantastic! This was a little different than pevious novels, as this was less thriller and more coming-of-age with a mystery, but I loved it.

    1. Yes! I really liked this one. It was a bit different this time, less thriller and more coming-of-age with mystery, but I really liked it a lot.

  3. I read and enjoyed "The House Across the Lake" by this author. I'm putting this one on my "To Be Read" list.

    1. It's a bit different from his other novels, less thriller and more coming-of-age with a mystery, but I loved it. Have you read The Only One Left? It's the latest, before this one. I loved that one, also. I've loved almost all of his books, but I think Final Girls will always be my favorite.

    1. He's become one of my only go-to fiction authors. This was different from his previous works, a lot less thriller and a lot more coming-of-age with a mystery, but I liked it a lot. Final Girls will always be my most favorite, but he's great.

    1. Yes, yes, your 'few' that you mentioned the week before this post, lol. I love Mary Beard and will probably pick up that one at some point. Curious about the Holland one, but don't want the war stuff.
