Vampires! I must have missed that one when I added her other books to my Wish List..... [grin]
ReplyDeleteFOUR for me this week (with one in the post). All non-fiction.
The Restless Kings - Henry II, His Sons and the Wars for the Plantagenet Crown by Nick Barratt
The Makers of Scotland - Picts, Romans, Gaels and Vikings by Tim Clarkson
Hurricane by Adrian Stewart
British America 1500-1800 - Creating Colonies, Imagining an Empire by Steven Sarson
I loved Harkup's books, I am for once GLAD you told me of a book's existence, lol.
DeleteI can't believe I don't have Restless Kings on my TBR. Those are my people. Well, Eleanor is my people and I tolerate her husband and children.
I already have Scotland makers on my TBR, lucky you ;)
Look at you, adding more books to your TBR list! Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteUgh, I knoooooow. Luckily they were good ones!

ReplyDeleteI think you would like all of her books. Looking at the science behind vampires, Frankenstein, etc was a lot of fun. As was all the poisoning Agatha Christie was so fond of.
DeleteVampirology? Ooh...
ReplyDeleteTweet Cute looks fun. And that first book...
All good reads! I think you would like Toxic. It was twisty and even though I figued it out, I still liked it.
