Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.
I've added a section to indicate if a book is from my TBR. Maybe that will shame me into focusing on the TBR because so far nothing else has worked 🤣

Happy Reading!

I got the new Hawkins book too! I'm eager to dive in after her not releasing one this year.
ReplyDeleteI've barely started it, got distracted by library books. But I am excited to read it.
DeleteI'm forcing myself to wait a bit as I read all the other ARCs that publish before it...but it's VERY tempting!
DeleteYou're so much more organized with ARCs than I am. Here you are reading them in the proper order and I'm just all willy-nilly whatever interests me at the moment.
DeleteDon't get me wrong, I still get easily distracted haha
DeleteStory of my life, lol. I am reeeeeally trying to get my library books and ARCs finished up so I can focus on my owned-TBR.
DeleteI spent some time last weekend clearing off some of my Goodreads TBR, and I need to get back to it. I just finished a book that I didn't enjoy that much, and I had the next in the series on my shelf, so I am going to unhaul these two books, making progress! I hope you enjoy these and have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteYay! Progress! I am being super mindful of my library hauls right now, because here in the fall I am trying to focus on what I have at home physically already. But getting some ARCs done as well. Having that summer goal really helped me focus, so I am going to do a fall one as well. Hope your weekend was relaxing!!
DeleteGood to see you managed to pick up 'Defence of Witches' and 'Red Prince'. Interested (as always) to see what you think of them.
ReplyDeleteA reasonable (though somewhat unexpected) 3 non-fiction from me this week. Only expecting the 1 next week.
Between Two Hells - The Irish Civil War by Diamaid Ferriter
Istanbul - Memories and the City by Orhan Pamuk
Africa - Altered States, Ordinary Miracles by Richard Dowden
Definitely want to read Between Two Hells. Ireland will never stop being my favorite thing. But my library doesn't have it :(
Delete"Planning" a triple Ireland read at the end of the year as part of my renewed Ancestry focus... 'Hells' won't be part of that, but I'll be getting to it ASAP.
DeleteI read it as you planning a trip to Ireland at first and I was about to be really jealous.
DeleteBoth your ARC look interesting.
ReplyDeleteI've just barely started the Hawkins book and am SO excited for Oxford Blood. Fingers crossed that they're both as amazing as I am hoping.
