Stacking the Shelves #357

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

So I am day 23 of the plague or whatever this is. I am feeling way better than when it all started, but it has been ups and downs of feeling better and then feeling awful again. But antibiotics and steroids and emergency inhalers have made a huge difference, yay! Now I am mostly just tired, which makes writing reviews difficult, since all I want to do is lay on the couch and read/sleep. Spring Break started yesterday for me, so hopefully a few more days of rest and I can start cranking out the ridiculous amount of reviews I have to get done.

  1. I was starting to be 'quite concerned' - which is a LOT for a Brit! I had images of you being teargassed at a protest (I know what you're like) and ending up in a Gulag with slow Internet (the horror!). Glad you're on the mend from whatever bug you picked up. Did the doctors have any idea what it was/is?

'Only' two from me this week - although one was technically from last week (late delivery). Both non-fiction:

Black Sea - Coasts and Conquests from Pericles to Putin by Neal Ascherson
Female Tommies - The Frontline Women of the First World War by Elisabeth Shipton
