Had all these grand plans for reviews this weekend...and my modem died yesterday. Finally up and running with a new one just now, but FFS!

ReplyDeleteLuckily the last week and this week have been settled and calm. I was about to be VERY rage-y at my Internet company, but I ended up getting a pretty sweet deal that LOWERED my monthly bill by almost $20, while getting an upgrade in equipment. YAY!

ReplyDeleteYES! Especially when it becomes something I can't fix. The modem was dead as a doornail. No power, nothing.
DeleteGlad you're back "in the world". My weekend was very quiet after we celebrated my brother's 60th on Friday. I don't drink and it was a quiet evening but I was totally exhausted.

ReplyDeleteRIGHT?! I was so pissed when it became something I could not fix and I actually had to go to the freaking store to exchange the modem. BUT, I lucked out and got the new upgraded equipment, while lowering my bill by almost $20 per month. Yay!
DeleteWe've had some internet troubles here as well, though thankfully only a short service interruption. The cable for our fiber has decided to emerge in the backyard, and I've had quite the time trying to get the company out her to bury it again. Hopefully we'll have someone out to resolve that this week. Sending you all the good internet vibes haha.
ReplyDeleteNow I am sending them back to your in hopes that issues have been resolved as well!! It seems kind of weird that the company would not want to get it taken care of as soon as possible, you know, so it doesn't get chewed on my an animal or anything...
Deleteno worries...mr wonderful and i share the laptop from our loungers. he is home so much since being let go from his job due to covid, so i don't bug him a lot to GIVE ME MY COMPUTER. lol trying to work in the cost of adding another soon.
