So I just found a bunch of comments from people in my spam folder that I apparently forget existed and I only thought to check it because CK and a few others have mentioned random comments going to their spam folders lately as well. Most are from recently, but one is from October of last year and one from January of this year. If you're wondering why your comment never showed or why I never answered, SURPRISE! The weird thing is, the majority of the comments are from people who regularly comment here, so get your shit together Blogger!

DeleteI've had that same problem for a while with just one other blogger who comments regularly and where I answer and where I comment regularly and where she answers and still, blogger thinks she's spamming me. But I found the "spam" folder, well hidden, thank you, programmers, and found there were a few others. Not many, though, but also from some of my closest blogger friends. And I've ended up in some other folders, as far as I heard. I couldn't agree with you more about your second but last sentence.

DeleteAgreed. I just wish I knew why this is suddenly happening because there is no pattern here. And I tried Googling it to see if there was info, but I could not find anything so I am assuming it is a glitch or something.

DeleteI mostly get the same, especially one very regular visitor. Don't know whether they think it's too much. But then, others comment just as often, so that couldn't be the fact.

ReplyDeleteOh for sure! I never would have noticed if CK had not mentioned a few weeks ago on his post after Uvalde. Now I am checking a couple times a day to see if anyone has landed in the Spam folder.

ReplyDeleteYes!! SO many in the last month or so. It's so weird because the actual spam is not being caught, and comments from people I talk to ALL THE TIME are going there.
