I didn't love There's Someone but it does have its moments.
ReplyDeleteYou may or may not get a chuckle from my "review", which I was planning to post today.
DeleteThere's always someone inside the house...calling you on your own phone! haha. Happy reading, that thriller looks good.
ReplyDeleteI had high hopes, but it was terrible. I posted the review yesterday if you are interested: https://allthebookblognamesaretaken.blogspot.com/2023/04/book-review-theres-someone-inside-your.html
DeletePicked up a few classics from my local Charity Shop and then there was a Mall trip to see 'John Wick 4', so....
ReplyDeleteFiction:
For Whom the Bell Tolls by Ernest Hemingway
Death in the Afternoon by Ernest Hemingway
King of Scars by Leigh Bardugo
First Person Singular by Haruki Murakami
Non-Fiction:
Otherlands - A World in the Making by Thomas Halliday
1000 Years of Annoying the French by Stephen Clarke
The Shortest History of Democracy by John Keane
Obviously I must read 1000 Years of Annoying the French. I've seen it before and keep meaning to get it but then get distracted. Curious about Otherlands too. As for Democracy...who knows how long we will keep ours if the insurrection ringleader goes unpunished.
DeleteThese look like some really good books. Have a wonderful weekend 😊
