Stacking the Shelves #268

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc

Last weekend I talked about the Goodreads horror list they do every year in October and naturally, because I have no shelf control, I grab as many as I can from the library. Here's what came this week!
You can find that Goodreads list HERE. Then I stupidly looked at the second horror list they posted a few days ago, which you can find HERE, and requested a few more. One of my fave librarians pointed out that Halloween doesn't have to be the end of spooky season, but the beginning. So, here we go, November Is For Horror, Too.

    1. I have gone back and forth on it for a while but when it showed up on the Goodreads horror lists I figured I would finally just give it a try.

  4. Suspense books are like "spooky" books and I read them all year as well. I think you can read anything any time (except me, I am not a read Christmas all year type person, LOL!). I hope you have a great weekend!

  8. So many of these are either on my TBR or are books I've read! And I know you're thrilled to have the new Dan Jones!

    1. Yay! So far most have been pretty good. As for Dan, you know he's my #1! I can't wait to get into it, but I want to knock these library books out first so I can enjoy Wolves and not have to race through it.

  9. Wolves of Winter is a sequel -- have you read Essex Dogs yet?

    1. Of course. I get the ARCs from Dan or his publisher, then get the signed and numbered special editions from The Broken Binding when they're published in the UK. BB also did something cool and asked us our book number from Essex Dogs, so they could match us with our same number for Wives of Winter.
