Stacking the Shelves #338

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Reading Reality. It is a chance to showcase all the goodies you've collected throughout the week, whether they're bought on-line or in-store, an ARC or a final copy, borrowed from a friend or the library, physical or digital, etc.

I've added a section to indicate if a book is from my TBR. Maybe that will shame me into focusing on the TBR because so far nothing else has worked 🤣

Happy Reading!

  2. I do like Ancient Egypt. When I go to a Museum it's there and Dinosaurs 🤣 I hope that you enjoy all those books.

  3. The past few weeks I have slowed down on checking fiction books out from the library, really focusing on finishing the ones I have and working on my tbr (notice I didn't say I wasn't getting books from the library, we won't talk about how many quilting books I have checked out, LOL). I hope you enjoy all of these when you get to them! Have a great weekend.

    2. LOL! I was even in the library today and didn't grab any. I guess right now my own books are pulling my focus more. I only have one more book out from the library to read. I keep thinking I need to reserve some more, but I think I will wait.

    3. That's amazing, good job on the shelf-control. I currently have maxed out my library card AND Eleanor's. But so many of them are from my TBR, so...

  4. Oh, I recently learned about Anatomical Venuses from another book, Slashed Beauties sounds interesting. Your library haul looks great and I love the ancient Egypt theme, it reminds me to finish watching an online course about ancient Egypt I was in the middle of 😅. 1. I am excited to get to that one, Slashed Beauties sounds like a unique read, so fingers crossed!

I kind of go on these random binges where I decide I have to read everything our library has by a certain author, or on a certain subject. It's been a while since I've read about Ancient Egypt, so off I go!
